Feeds: 6-8
Ingredients:
- 1-16 ounce can of jumbo buttermilk biscuits OR homemade biscuits
- 1 lb. Ground Sausage (Breakfast Belle, Chorizo, Sage, or S&P)- Your choice!
- ¼ Cup Flour
- 2 ½ Cups Milk
Instructions:
- If using biscuits in a can- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange biscuits 1-2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until golden brown. If using homemade biscuits- prepare and bake as needed.
- While biscuits are baking, cook sausage over medium heat in a large skillet, about 6 minutes.
- Add flour to sausage until all sausage is completely coated.
- Slowly add milk, continuously stirring until it thickens and comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low- simmer and stir for 2 more minutes.
- Split biscuits in half and top them with sausage gravy.
- Seasoning to your liking (salt/pepper, AP Seasoning)
